M/S of the veteran comedian / entertainer Charles Coburn wearing a shabby suit and top-hat, his eyes have been blacked out with make-up. He says that he is about to sing a song called (not surprisingly) `Two Lovely Black Eyes'. Several shots of the Coburn singing, he then goes onto sing the same song in French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Hebrew.

Introduced by Ronald Frankau: amazing to see these two performers, from different generations (born 1852 and 1894 respectively) in the same clip. Family tradition has it that the butler used to take my grandfather to the music hall: so Ronald, as a young boy, must have seen Charlie Coborn doing his turn the first time around...

His surname is Coborn not Coburn :)
