Sorry, it's Roy Eldridge on trumpet. I have the album right here in my hands, Candid 8022 recorded Nov. 1960. I bought it in '61. The album was not recorded at Newport, but in N.Y. months afterwardsby musicians who had held their own "rebel" festival at Cliff Walk in Newport. Other personnel on some of the cuts are: Jimmy Knepper trbn, Booker Little trpt, Julian Priester trbn, Walter Benton ts, John Morrison b, Abbey Lincoln vc, Benny Bailey trpt, and Kenny Dorham piano.
