I feel so emotional watching this... This comic is so important to me, so inspiring in my daily life... I remember when I heard Mr. Schulz died, I felt terribly sad. He's one of those people I wish I could have met to say 'Thank you for your work'. Also, I love this interview. The interviewer seems so nice and full of respect, we do not get to see such interviews nowadays...

It was 12 years ago today that we lost Mr. Schulz, you were a great man and we'll always miss you. Thank you for your great comics and specials that we will enjoy forever. You're a good man Charles Schulz.

I'd love if in this day and age, there was a legend just as great as Charles Schulz. If it wasn't for his Peanuts comic strip, I would have been a very different person.

I had my blanket like Linus until I was twelve, they kept throwing it out and I kept fishing it out of the garbage.

The fact that Schultz made Charles Gibson mention his teddy bear he carried was the highlight of this video! That was funny!

I wonder how he would feel if he knew that in 2015 Peanuts Movie they allowed Charlie Brown to have a conversation with the Little Red Haired Girl as well as showing the Audience her face.

They technically did that in It's Your First Kiss Charlie Brown, back in 1977, the TV special where she was called Heather. That said, I agree, I didn't even see the Peanuts Movie, after the first 30 seconds I had had enough.

Think like Mr. Schulz. He never really cared about the TV specials. The strip was all he considered real

The candy company who made peppermint patty didn't sue him for copyright infringement? They would do that today, times have changed.

Just the fact that York spells their candy PATTIE is enough to make the fair use distinction.

Nah. That's just what the TV executives made happen for the shows. Schulz never considered that canon. Time and time again he's stated that because she's based on a real relationship he had that didn't work out.
