I’ve heard so much about this guy being brilliant, but when I listened to this I was so underwhelmed. It was like a slightly smarter version of a west wing episode; dripping with unfounded sincerity. Then I saw that it was from 2018. I guess someone can be excused for being that big of a believer in the enlightenment/ liberalism back then.
