I built a model of the Morgan when I was in 4th grade (1988). That year my class went to Mystic and we bunked on the Morgan for a week. Good memories.

Hi, Mike, I have also been on the Morgan. It's cool to build a model of a ship that you have been on and inspected closely, especially one with so much history. Maybe it's time to build her again. Take care

Just started building the 1984 version not the laser cut version,could be fun.already built H.M.S unicorn....Black Pearl...and the big one .Montanes spanish ship,all can be seen on youtube.

Hi Stephen. Where did you get that kit. Hard to imagine that it would still be around. I have built Montanes also, along with many others. I have six builds on KZbin. Check them out. And please do a vid, or a slide show of your build. I would love to see it.

Hi Scott Don't know where you are in your build, but a trouble spot was in the masts and yards. The brackets that hold the yards must go onto the mast while you are building them. I had to cut mine to get them on as I had missed seeing the problem. I didn't see anything in the instructions about it. Good luck. Hope it turns out well.
