Charles, instead of cutting Luna’s hair get the *Furminator* tool on Amazon. It is a deShedding and thinning device that helps longhaired cats. I use it for my longhaired tuxedo kitty and it helps her, and us, by alleviating so much cat hair all over the place, and keeping her cool and not having so many hair balls. 🥰 🌸♥️🌸

That's a Vinoy Park squirrel. Char has videos of them as do I. They get right up close. In fact recently I went and not only did they take food out of my hand, one of them kept putting his paw on my finger when he grabbed the food. They are the sweetest squirrels EVER!!!

I don't recommend shaving your cats. Their fur keeps them cool and protected from the sun. Try brushing long hair cats daily and deshedding weekly

Agreed! They also have awesome treats meant for hairballs that will help them pass the fur instead of throwing it up. One of my two cats is taking that the other does great with just brushing. Shaving could be very traumatic.

Sara D may I ask which treats you use for that?? I haven’t found a treat that’s truly effective. I have 2 furkids who are part Maincoon & we think their Dad was a domestic shorthair. Their sibling in the litter look like Dad & mine are adorable Maincoons. They are 9 years old. Thanks!

@@MuscularMayhem Sure! My cat is a 12 year old domestic shorthair, she just started getting sick with hairballs this year. I've tried two brands and both worked for her, PetNC Natural Care Hairball soft chews and Vet’s Best Cat Hairball Relief Digestive Aid, I got both from Amazon. She was throwing up daily then I tried one of these and within two days she had no issues. I hope they work for you!

One thing he never had was hairballs. I have a short haired cute now who never throws up hairballs. I think its a genetic thing.

I had a month of Braxton Hicks - somewhat uncomfortable but I got used to it - and my little girl popped out in 2 hours... one week early. It was not the excruciating agony I had been fearing - rather, a real intense and focused ache. My monitor had slipped so no one knew I was in active labour and when I mentioned that I felt like pushing, the midwife said, "Oh honey, I don't think you are anywhere close to that stage" :) Then she checked and my baby's head was clearly visible. No time for meds but I used visualisation techniques and it was very manageable. It's true that every woman has a unique experience but I have heard many stories of prolonged Braxton Hicks leading to a faster labour. Good luck and we are wishing you a wonderful birthing experience - however it happens for you. xx

Go to any pet store or discount store and pick up a tube of hairball remedy and put it on a plate for the cats to lick up. It’s usually liver flavored. I’ve even put it in my cats paw. I have owned many cats thru out the years, and every one I’ve had can act annoyed or crazy if they have hairball build up. They either get constipated (which seems to make them antsy or jumpy and run around) or they cough it up.

And groom them to remove the loose hair, that will clear any tangles, especially with Luna as she has long hair, and reduce the hair balls they cough up.

Luna is a Maine coon like my Sparrow (same age as Rica). I got him hairball Control dry food and it helped. They have long fur so it’ll happen. Meow mix makes the one I get but I’m sure any brand has their own.

I know I already shared mine but I thought I should add that my contractions were not consistent, as they are supposed to be, until they broke my water in the hospital. - For Luna, don't cut her hair, there are treats that help cats digest their fur so they have less hairballs. I use them for my long-haired cat. - I love the idea of onesies and toddler tees. Can you make kids shirts too?

Also, my fiancé and I are currently planning our wedding and we were watching your videos and I just told him how inspiring Allie is! She is so real with the pregnancy and I think it’s important for people who haven’t had a baby to know. I am the first out of my friends getting married and only a few of my friends have been pregnant before. They both had different experiences and they also are very closed with it. So seeing how open you are really helps me know what to expect. I hate surprises and freak out if something feels wrong, so knowing that there are good pregnancies and bad is easing my worry!

Good luck with the chemo start Charles. I know exactly how you feel. Drink lots of water and/or smoothies! Smoothies always helped me get through it. You are always in my prayers. I am now a 5 years and 6 months Oligo 3 brain cancer survivor! No recurrence yet.

1:30 that's how I felt when I went into labour. Just didnt feel good all day. Back was hurting and stomach cramps but not like I thought labour would be. So that night we went to the hospital and they were like "yup your in labour". We live in a small town go I had to get flown out to a city. Had my baby the next evening. Ugh I dont even wanna scare you how my delivery went. It still haunts me 9 yrs later lol.

Here's a tip for dealing with hot weathers. You guys should close all windows and blinds, to not let the heat from the outside get into your house. Also, in your car, you can keep the windows closed, and turn up the AC. In case you guys didn't know.

With my daughter...from the first pain I had to having her was 45 minutes. With my son...he wanted to come 3 months early...1-2 times a week for 3 months...they had to stop my labor. Once they finally let me have him...it was 7 hours. Totally different for everyone. I didn't have anything for pain with my daughter....BUT with my son...I got the epidural. I hope you have a safe easy delivery...and a happy, healthy baby girl!!!

I predicted 4th July! All my 3 have started with a long latent phase and then progressed really quick, just hours of discomfort until finally contractions ramp up and things get going, then it wasn't so bad cause you know you are ready for it! Just try not to concentrate on the time and get comfy. Dont get on your back at any point unless absolutely necessary! Had the best labour with my 3rd by staying off my back! My mother told me about her labor story of my lil sister.. she woke up around 6 am and immediately knew she was in labor (4th baby) and walked around the house getting my brothers and I's stuff ready for school, woke us up all that and waited until her parents arrived to take us to school (we didn't have a car at the time) to be like "My contractions are a few minutes apart" the look of horror on my Dad and grandparents faces is something I'll never forget, funniest thing in the world in my 7yr old mind, I spent the entire drive laughing. Also with me she neglected to tell my Dad she was in labor until they were done with their errands, so it's a pattern.

Get a shedding brush and use it every day! I have a basic one and one that kinda looks like a claw, it will pull out an ridiculous amount of hair that they have shed but hasn’t come out. I have 2 Maine coon kitties and brush them every day while I relax. They LOVE it! It’s really important to do. Also your vet can most likely give you this laxative type stuff, I have a tuna flavored one. It helps them digest the hair.

When my grandma went into labor with my uncle (her oldest) she wasn't having a lot of pain, so she thought she had a while. Her friend kept trying to get her to go to the hospital, but she decided to wash the dinner dishes and take a shower because she "had to shave her legs if people were going to see them." She FINALLY made it to the hospital and my uncle made his entrance half an hour later.

Hey, I remember my last 48 hours before delivery. We had a video party, I kicked everyone out at 2 am, water broke at 6 am, contacted hospital 8 am. Went in at 1 pm, delivered 7:01 am next morning. But like you said Allie everyone is different. Just wishing you a blanket of hugs and a back massage. Charles it won't be too much longer. Fingers crossed for quick and easy.

I know we're so excited about baby girl but Char I want you to know that we're praying for you going through chemo is rough. I just watched Tara Henderson birth vlog and cried like a baby. Please you guys make sure you have lots of pictures of baby with her grandparents as well, I really miss my dad so much and I regret not taking more photos with my children. Please get some good rest and don't be afraid of the process because this will be your greatest treasure ever. I'm already crying for you guys with excitement. My advice is let people do a meal plan for you guys. I did one for my bestie and for the first two weeks we had fresh salads and food.

I'm waiting for this baby eagerly lol things people told me that helped me prepare (more emotionally) for delivery.. Almost everyone poops when pushing! Almost everyone gets a vaginal tear!! That first poop...is rough! Also sometimes peeing!! (In my case I couldn't pee and the way my body felt when I tried to pee, was probably the worst part for me!!) Placenta kinda feels like a giant snake size snot! When it's time to push DEFINITELY feels like you need to poop! Some people also get diarrhea right before baby decides to come!

Charles, There's nothing wrong with getting the vet to shave a cat if they have a real problem with hairballs, but why not try to deal with the hairballs first? Any hairball treatment sold at pet stores or vet clinics helps if given regularly. Some cats will willingly eat it, if she won't then put it in a syringe & syringe it into her mouth. Another option is to give her Therabites. They're chews that most cats who won't eat the regular hairball treatment will actually eat. They're only sold at vet clinics & have to be given weekly even if they don't have hairballs (they prevent them). I found they do work, but not as well with a few cats so those cats we also give regular hairball treatment if they actually do throw one up. Even with those cats there are less hairballs when given Therabites. If you can't keep up with preventing/treating hairballs it's better to shave them than let them have hairballs. Hairballs act like steel wool in their stomach & can cause ulcers. (And guaranteed you will step on a big wet hairball in your bare feet.)

With my 1st I went in to labor 2 weeks early at 3 am. Called the hospital at 8 and they told me not to come in yet because i could talk during a contraction. Finally went in at 10 and was already fully dialated. With my 2nd I was induced because of my bad 1st experience. Both labors were 10 hours. Hang in there!!!

There is a gel you can get at the pet store or vet for the cats hair balls. You literally squirt a 1 inch line of it on you finger and smear on their front leg. They will lick it off of themselves and it dissolves their ingested fur so they don't puke it up.

I think for the Baby and Toddler merch it would be adorable to have a cartoon silhouettes of the animals and have IKTV in the middle of it. Have the material be bright colors and then have black and white silhouettes w/ IKTV big for the babies and small on the chest for the toddlers.
