I used to work for McDonald’s and at a corporate Mcdonalds You do get a free meal during your shift some franchises you get a free meal during your shift and 50% off your meal when your not working but want McDonald’s.

I worked at McDonald's for a couple years in high school. We didn't get free food, unless a manager felt like giving us a manager discount (free meal). Otherwise it was 50% off when you're working and 25% off when you're not working. I was never trained in the grill, so I never stole anything or made weird concoctions.
