So sweet to see the whole Havanese family observing the outdoors on the window-seat. Thanks for the update and happy feels I get seeing them. Parvo is a real concern as well when it comes to letting them potty outside, until they get all their inoculations. I litter-box trained my Havanese,, too. We get snow and icy conditions here. I was badly injured in a car crash so walking in some weather conditions ups my falling risk.

How do you control pet odors???

All the dogs get a body wipe every night. We use body odor spray for pets. And we clean their pee and poo very thoroughly. It takes a lot of effort!

Thanks for the reassurance. This is our first week with our 8 weeks old Havanese, purchased from a reliable breeder. It costs us $3,000 for the puppy plus another $1,000 for food and supplies. The first few days the puppy made a mess everywhere - untrained. We had to cleaned every few hours, just the last 2 days, it started to go on the potty tray and outdoors on the grass. Likewise, we clean the soiled areas thoroughly with a Hoover portable carpet and hard floor cleaner using an enzyme soap solution. Upon entry to the house we use wipes on the entire body and plan to bath the puppy every 10 days.
