Charles' only appearance at Red Rocks, Oct. 13th 2018. The REZZ ROCKS lineup also included TOKIMONSTA, Bleep Bloop, Digital Ethos and Fytch.
Charles played in the golden hour - finishing up around sunset just as the clear blue, cloudless sky began to glow. By the time Rezz took the stage the winds were howling, temps were freezing and the venue was covered with several inches of slush!

What an absolutely megalithic force of a human being. His music is the most powerful yet beautiful sound I’ve ever heard, like mountains being formed violently, but then a prairie of flowers blooming across them in a million-year time lapse. The emotions that his music evoke are always ones of optimistic uncertainty, like going into a new unfamiliar place, but knowing you are in good hands as you venture into the unknown. How he was able to channel something so powerful in his 25 years inspires me, and makes me feel a complete sense of awe an amazement. Thanks for sharing that with us Charles, the friends I’ve met through your music have been the most authentic I’ve ever known and I can’t thank you enough for providing your music and that space. So much love to you and your family eternally.

@@HasturLaVishnu I feel like you should listen closer. His sound was one of a kind. I love all those artists that you compare him to and have seen them live, but the sounds CTF made and mixed were just different. He definitely had an ear for the music people wanted to hear. G Jones and Eprom are on a different vibe , more distortion, darker tones. Lab Group wouldn't be Lab Group without CTF and Eazybaked and Of The Trees are definitely closer, but not the same.
