Find a teacher near you. Videos are to help you practice.

You need to be in very good Physical shape to do this. If not but you still want to swing; try Lindy, West Coast, Jitterbug, Shag, 4 count or Country swing.

There are lots of super newbie vids! You can't beat an in person lesson though. Note that Swing dancing has a steep learning curve initially - expect to invest at least 8-12 weeks before you start feeling competent. (at that point a private lesson goes a long way)

This is more a reference of moves to learn first a good order to learn them in. You can tell like every couple minutes was a different class session which was probably at least an hour long +practice. Also,as my teacher likes to joke Charleston is 10% skill 90% recovery time. 😂 Look up some beginner tandem Charleston foot work for a better starting place if this is intimidating. (I recognize you posted this 4 years ago and may no longer be interested I hope you are still dancing and found a way!) Peace to anyone who actually read this! Keep dancing! ❤
