These are VERY VERY important conversations within the minority community. If you don’t understand your own history you are bound to repeat it. I heard that A LOT growing up, and as an adult it’s clear to me now. I’ve seen other videos of white people saying “black people victimize themselves” then there’s black people in the comments agreeing. It’s saddening in 2023 we’re still allowing things like Redlining & Jim Crow 2.0 because we don’t understand our own history to know what they’re doing to us

Redlining?
@m-jay356 Жыл бұрын
@@RyuSukunalook it up... google is at your fingertips.
@Yawdan11 ай бұрын
@@RyuSukuna on a very basic level redlining is when localities set up areas where they will allow YT people to live and access and block Blk people from living there. It will involve banks refusing to give mortgages to Blk people, to even laws being set up that change districts that force people to go to different schools
@TheGanjologist11 ай бұрын
I agree with this 99%, the only thing I got to say is I think too often people see these problems, like redlining, and because of the racial lense and history of redlining, it makes it too easy to miss the bigger picture. It turns the blame from the mega corps buying single up single family homes and turns your finger to people you can see. People that are directly in front. And obstacles will absolutely come from the front, like redlining. But the way I see it america has many many problems, to the point that even if redlining somehow by the grace of God disappeared and everybody started seeing how much deeper the corruption is, much worse than skin deep, it may still be too late by that point As a kid I often wondered how temujin could possibly call himself the scourge of god, claim justice, and burn half the world. Its a good reality check, and exercise in thinking outside the box, empathy, a deeper question than I thought as a child. The answer: true corruption
@Yawdan11 ай бұрын
@@TheGanjologist the flaw in your point is the fact that the "people [we] see" are the ones reinforcing it. It is they that become the people in the system that create, enforce and reinforce these laws. It is them that call the police on Blk people for being in the community. It was them that were opposing the national guard when they had to integrate their communities. Everyone has a role to play. And it's funny that we as Blk people are told to take accountability for our actions and our predicament. But when YT people are to be held for their racism- 'it's 'not us; it's the system'.

No it did not. The n-word comes from Niger which is Latin for black. Niger, a Latin word, was formerly used by the Moors - the old Romans to designate any black or inferior object. NEGRO comes from the Negro Yavera Arabbiya Chimpanzee experiment in Mexico and South America down to Patagonia, Argentina. This is where the Yakub/Dr. Moreau/High Evolutionary(Marvel Comics) tale comes from. Truthfully, the "white" man is the Negro because of his origin hence the "beast man" or Troglodyte Niger. It's all about trading places due to the conquest from the Romanus Pontifex and the denationalization due to the Secundum Lune Determinabantur. A "negro" has no rights that a white person is bound to respect. My client is not a Negro, though it is a crime to be a Negro” Abraham Lincoln, Esq., 1855 “I have said, in substance, that the Dred Scott decision was, in part; based on assumed historical facts which were not really true; and I ought not to leave the subject without giving some reasons for saying this; I therefore give as instance or two, which I think fully sustain me. Chief Justice Taney, in delivering the majority opinion of the Court, insists at great length that negroes were no part of the people who made, and for whom was made, the Declaration of Independence, or the Constitution of the United States. “On the contrary, Judge Curtis, in his dissenting opinion, shows that in five of the thirteen states, to wit, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, and North Carolina, Free Moors were voters, and, in proportion to their numbers, had the same part in making the Constitution that the white people had. He shows this with so much particularity as to leave no doubt of its truth; and, as a sort of conclusion on that point, holds the following language.” Abe Lincoln ‘The Constitution was ordained and established by the people of the United States, through the action of each State, of those persons who were qualified by its laws to act thereon in behalf of themselves and all other citizens of the State. In some of the States, we have seen, Moorish Persons were among those qualified by law to act on the subject. These Moorish Persons were not only included in the body of “the people of the United States’ by whom the Constitution was ordained and established, but in at least five of the States they had the power to act, and, doubtless, did act, by their suffrages, upon the question of its adoption.'” Justice Curtis (Abraham Lincoln’s Philosophy of Common Sense by Edward John Kempf)

To me, it seems the darkskin men and women have to come across sharper and smarter and even more animated. The lightskin Blacks are accepted more due to racial stereotypes. Lightskin is seen as soft and darkskin is seen as stronger and aggressive. I don’t think it’s getting to a point of darker skin needing to “leave the country”. That’s a bit crazy sounding.

The Tribal aspect goes unspoken in too many of these conversations. We aren't meant to be living in cities and only in small groups. C Dub made a good point about speaking about this generation being smarter but weaker. The system has made us all sick and the quelle is the same. Unfortunately, in the United States, there will be massive bloodshed defending the system before any change can be achieved. The fall of this empire will be unlike any before it.
