I'm sorry but British cities are just revolting now. I am so lucky I live in the countryside in the arse end of nowhere and I do not take this for granted. Everything about them is so bleak, chewing gum all over the floor, open bins, piled high, people pissing in public areas, huge garish advertisement everywhere, ugly architecture, just grim.

He’s got mental issues and has been put through the care system and spat out at 16. I can say this from working in mental health. I don’t personally know the gentleman in question but I’ve worked with and helped many other people like him. If I’d of gone a different route in life, I’d of been like him and I didn’t even go into care. We badly need to invest more money in mental health services and not spending it on things that don’t help the UK at all. I am glad that Charlie didn’t make the situation a lot worse even tho he was insulted by the mentally health, very unwell man. He presented like he was Bipolar 0:01 tbh, at least the armed police used common sense and the coped who took him aside, also did. I’ll say the public didn’t help at all and made him even more manic and I’d of been there, I’d of pointed that one out and asked if he was having a manic episode or not. We deal with anger, with anger in this country and then wonder why we don’t live in greater Manchester but we do live in a hostile place.

Presumably because nobody else bothered to call them? Also think he's a bit of an idiot... He was quick to call them when threatened by this male for what I consider a "half arsed" threat but then went on to make snarky comments about them "consuming pork products" and only made the situation worse with the chap outside the shop... great work. If your life depends on going around sticking a camera up to people to get a reaction and then proclaiming "It's my right to record, i'm in public!" then I think that's a bit sad personally, especially when you want to get said reaction just so it can be used as a video for KZbin. So many people these days don't want to do a proper job, they all want an easy life from "KZbin"... god help today's society.

The 1 million disabled people on work isn’t going to happen at all, as the civil service is stretched to the limit of breaking. So it’s under staffed and has a hell of a lot staff that are off sick and super stressed. This leads to a broken Britain and not enough staff to take on a million more people with more complexes needs. The government is currently divided on a whole host of different things, so I don’t see getting the disabled people to do jobs that don’t exist, it’s just not going round happen of nor is it workable, without taking on a shit loss of DWP staff and giving them costly training.

For the first forty years of my life, the world around me seemed relatively normal. Then I started work on night shift in a 24 hour open city mall in Brisbane, Australia and observed a whole 'subculture' of human flotsam. Shortly after that, as I moved into a more administrative role, things seemed normal again. In the years leading up to retirement I decided to make a complete change and drove buses. Once again, the demons of the 'afflicted' returned and I could see all was not well with humanity. I'm retired now and for the most part isolated from the 'tormented' but when I look at Manchester I see they're still there.

His videos show you things that ITV news won’t do but it’s like he’s read a hell of a lot comments on here, saying he needs to calm down with the aggressor. Also the guy at the end is high or has really bad mental health problems. Also we don’t have enough money put into mental health services, as shown on this video. Charlie is dealing with highly strung people, on drugs that have come from generational trauma. He’s clearly got ADHD and other problems going on.

Problem with arresting someone who may have mental health issues is that they would have to put them under the care of mental health professionals and those services are basically non existent now. People are struggling and they are not getting the help they need. Its very sad.
@kyrusinek
@kyrusinek 9 ай бұрын
No they exsist they are just more expensive than prison, there are FAR less actual spaces for people (Esp male spaces) And even then a lotof Mental health workers tend not to want to work with someone who at any point might seriously harm them, threaten them or even attempt murder in a situation were we have to be nice to them compared to how the police handle them.
@fionaboss1512
@fionaboss1512 9 ай бұрын
@@kyrusinek in my area we have a lot of mental health issues in the community and they frequently go the the local hospital and are refused care under mental health because they don't have sufficient resources to deal with them. I have also heard stories where people are moved away from their families to areas around the country, that is not right. The prison places are limited now because they are releasing people who should not be released to make space. Both services are in crisis. It's a very sad situation especially when a local lad is suicidal and desperate and is turned away. Thankfully our community stepped up and helped him out but it shouldn't be like that.
@kyrusinek
@kyrusinek 9 ай бұрын
@@fionaboss1512 Its not because they want to its because there is no beds free, or the person who needs help needs a specialized mental health hospital and its the other side of the country and wont go. (which is understandable ) Even people who get better in hospital cant leave because no houses or communal living places to spare so it all becomes a back log. There is also a bit of a "postcode" lottery" issue. Its the council your born under that pays the bill, if they don't have the money then they wont send you for help. Unlike a genral hospital patients can be there for 6 months to indefinate which compiles the issue. The average HCA and RMN's who look after these people are frustrated for the people they care for and are also taking the brunt of abuse from patients and families, who hate how the mental health system works. I am glad you were all able to help that lad btw good stuff!
