This album was created in the middle of the pandemic. The c2.0 was a recreation of a song of her album “Charli” named Click but using the lyrics to imply that she misses her clique due to the quarantine.

Visions is such an insane closer of a song. It wraps up the album perfectly in such a bitter sweet way. It reflects the track list in how it starts very abrupt and harsh like pink diamond, then mellows out and goes high and low. The song is supposed to be very dream like, it’s so suppose to be a dream. Reflecting on what she wants, like se said in the previous song about wanting to be parting and with people, then just as the dream gets good you hear the alarm clock come in to pull you back to the distorted reality of at the time covid. Probably one of my favorites. Charli really knows how to open and close her albums

I've never seen the use of an alarm clock in any song except for visions, but I think it's perfectly done and it makes complete sense. I get chills lol

Also a fun little fun tidbit about this album "...the album was conceived in the span of six weeks during the COVID-19 lockdown in a "do it yourself" collaborative process with her fans. Charli XCX, A. G. Cook and BJ Burton served as the album's executive producers...The entire project would be collaborative with her fans, using Zoom calls to share demos and text conversations with producers and ask fan input on single releases, song ideas, and artwork." very very cool, probably the best thing to born from lockdown restrictions :D

you should do a deep dive on the rest of her discography!!!! -vroom vroom (ep **MONUMENTAL** changed lives literally) -number 1 angel (sister project to pop2) -charli (self-titled) -and mayyybe her debut album "true romance" if you're curious, even though it might not be your vibe you might like it idk it's like 80s emo synthpop, still fun but less electronic and "experimental" ps. sorry for the "sucker" erase yall i just don't think she would love that one lol
