I love very much Charlie and the chocolate factory, this is my favorite movie from Tim Burton, Johnny Depp and from Danny Elfman. I love very much this music, my favorite character from the movie is Willy Wonka.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was meant to be dark, and I’m glad they didn’t keep any of the light-heartened stuff which absolutely ruined it for the original and was only a cash in for Roald Dahl’s success which I hated!

Great work. However not a fan of this film. They took so much of the lightness away from the original. And Johnny Depp as Willie Wonka, gross. lol.

Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory was not the original, the book was, and as far as I know, this one is far more accurate to it

This version captured the entire book way better then the older one. But anyways, different times so actually you shouldn't compare them to each other.
