How can he even be running for Prime Minister or leading a political party in Canada if he doesn’t have security clearance?

If he gets the security clearance, then by law, he won’t be allowed to disclose the names of the traitors.

Because politicians are allowed to get away with troubled, corrupted dealings if they con the rest of the voting public enough into voting them into power. Look at Trump. He's a convicted felon and yet, as President, he can't be thrown in jail. Pierre is trying to do the same thing. And any Canadian that votes for Conservatives should really question their sanity if they actually want a Prime Minister who can't or won't get security clearance. Would they accept Trudeau not getting security clearance? Would they accept Jagmeet Singh not getting security clearance? What are the standards for being Prime Minister if not, at least, being able to get security clearance as a world leader?!

How can anyone seriously support the Liberals' ridiculous talking point about Pierre not having security clearance when it’s completely irrelevant to the issues that actually matter? It’s absurd to focus on such a trivial detail while ignoring the real problems facing Canada. Trudeau's supporters are falling for this nonsense because they’re either willfully ignorant or too blinded by party loyalty to think critically. There’s a reason Pierre hasn’t rushed into this-it’s about more than just a simple checkbox. Yet, here we are, with Trudeau’s base mindlessly parroting talking points that only serve to distract from the real issues. It’s embarrassing how easily some people can be misled.

@@PercyY-ib2vx your failure to think for yourself is unfortunate. MANY people do not support Trudeau AND also do not support Pierre and the Cons. Do you understand how people can both not support Liberals or Conservatives because they have failed Canada for 150+ years? What do you think the most insane thing Canadians could do next time they vote? Vote in Conservatives again, like they always have done back and forth for 150+ years, playing ping-pong with Liberals. Enough already. It hasn't worked.

Discussions around safety and fearmongering about Conservative budget cuts miss the real issue: without spending cuts, how can deficits be reduced? Few seem concerned about Trudeau’s $1.2 trillion deficit, even as interest payments now equal federal health transfers. More of our tax dollars are being used to cover interest, offering little benefit to most Canadians. Meanwhile, the government continues to fund ineffective programs that only help a small minority, leaving the rest of us to deal with rising interest rates, taxes, and inflation. Trudeau’s focus on ideology, rather than tackling the growing debt, is leading the country toward financial disaster. It's time to address the real issues affecting the nation.

Have you seen what has happened in Argentina since the election of Milei? Huge austerity and anti-freedom measures put in with the guise of 'we need to cut to afford the future spending' but what has it done? "Since Argentina's far-right president came into power over 50% of Argentinians have been sunk into poverty." Federal governments don't operate like personal or municipal government budgets. Get with the modern times. 1Dime did a in-depth video essay on this called "The Deficit Myth: The Biggest Lie in Politics." It should free your mind of the fear of deficit and the cry for austerity.
@PercyY-ib2vx20 күн бұрын
@@coolioso808 While Argentina’s recent shift under President Milei has resulted in harsh austerity measures, it’s important to view this in a broader context. Argentina’s ongoing issues-such as hyperinflation and massive public debt-have been building for years, and the economic challenges are not solely due to Milei's election. Austerity was implemented to stabilize the economy and reduce debt, but it’s had severe social consequences, pushing more people into poverty. Austerity often hits the lower-income population hardest, which helps explain the rise in poverty. The core issue in Argentina isn’t just the austerity measures; it’s that much of the country’s tax revenue is used solely to pay off interest on debt, leaving little for public services or economic growth. It’s like running a household where most of your income goes to paying interest, leaving no room for savings or improvement. This inevitably leads to financial collapse. The idea that governments can spend endlessly without consequences, as Modern Monetary Theory suggests, is overly simplistic. If a government continues borrowing and printing money without addressing debt, it risks inflation, a weaker currency, and a drop in living standards-similar to a household that keeps overspending. While austerity can be painful, it may be necessary to avoid a worse outcome: unsustainable debt and eventual economic collapse. Trudeau’s government operates in a similar way-continuously printing and wasting money, benefiting the elites, not the middle class. This reckless approach risks bankrupting the country. Austerity measures, though harsh, are sometimes necessary to avoid a complete financial collapse. Letting the government continue down this path will only worsen the situation, leading to inflation, a weakened currency, and more economic suffering for the middle class.

@@PercyY-ib2vx You didn't watch the video essay with academic sources to back it up, did you? "The Deficit Myth: The Biggest Lie in Politics" by 1Dime is essential viewing for anyone who wants to stop cheering for austerity because of the false idea that 'we have to' or 'federal government is like a household.' NO, federal government is NOT like a household budget. That is part of the biggest lie. And you are buying it. To your own demise. The rich will destroy the planet for profiteering interests far before federal debt will ever be 'paid off'. Please stop drinking the conservative Kool-Aid. It's not healthy for ya. I wish you well.
