I am not much of a Rockies fan and haven't seen the retirement announcement, but if he does, I'll really miss watching him play the game. Loved to watch his pure swing, and the power he generated without all the bulking up many other players do.

I’m 21 which means Charlie has been a Rocky since I was 7 so I grew up watching Chuck Nazty and the Rockies since I’m from Colorado, So imma miss chuck nazty and he’s definitely one of my favorite Rockies and one of my all time favorite players. Living in Denver its been an absolute joy watching all of Chuck Nasty's career. He was just a damn fine ball player. There was nothing like a close game at Coors and Charlies walkup song bringing 30k fans singing in harmony. Its the end of an era here in Colo. As a Dodger fan, I used to love him because he always played the right way and a great leader to his team except when he played against the Dodgers because I hate him. He killed almost everyday when he faced against the Dodgers. I’m very glad that he played with the Rockies on all of his 14 seasons and you are now joined with Hall of Famer Todd Helton for those players who played entire 10+ season as a Rocky.
