I just love Charlie's playing on this one! Such an iconic solo. See description for link to my transcription over on Patreon. Best wishes, Andy

Dbm6 is the same as Bbm7b5, which leads on to Ab. Bbm7b5 over Eb7 is an Eb11th. Both it in beautifully.

For the tricky F7 lick, are you playing that with all downstrokes except for the C note on the high E string? I struggle getting this lick at tempo and you’re doing it with downstrokes. How depressing!

It sure is tricky! Yes, I'm doing it all down apart from the C on the high E. I wouldn't worry too much about using what picking works for you to make it comfortable!

I have a l50 from ‘52.. How do you converted ? Is the lollar CC ? and how do you install it ??
@jazzguitarwithandy6 ай бұрын
I bought mine already converted. If I was getting it done, I'd go to a luthier. The pickup is the CCUK pickup, it's regarded as the most authentic CC pickup out there. It would depend on the bracing in your particular guitar in terms of getting the pickup fitted.

Thanks for the history lesson at the beginning. I can’t imagine not liking CC’s sartorial choices!

I thought it would be nice to share some context :) Love that use of the word sartorial Mike! I need to use that word more often.
