Awww man! The casting team were genius on putting Charlie on Keith's show. Even before u watch this, if you've seen Charlie before, you KNOW how much this is gonna totally melt Cheggers down with tear-eyed,free faced fits of hysteria. Perfect for Keith. Suit, we used to give Keith such a shot storm as kids in the sawpshop days and beyond. But when the wee guy made his comeback after his troubles, you couldn't help but just accept him as a rather humble, honest, and very nice guy.

I had a great laugh watching this. Haven't seen him for years and still wish he was on the telly to cheer us all up!

I love the moment as he shambles on and the audience applause stops dead when they catch sight of him! I giggled all the way through, great stuff.

A unique talent. Vic & Bob considered him a comic genius. One definition of genius is an exceptional talent which cannot be explained by reference to influences or antecedants. So that leaves us with Shakespeare, Dickens, Kipling and Chuck.

I saw him in Blaby, Leicester, walking to the shop. Couldn't believe it was him. When I shouted DONKEY! he turned round smiling. Really nice guy, he gave me a signed T-shirt. He was working as a community nurse. Must have been about 1992.

First saw Charlie Chuck on the James Whale TV Show. I laughed my ass off at how random he was. Being northern too I get the dialect jokes so its all good with Charlie
In 1999 (I reckon) he did a gig at The Courtyard pub in Leeds centre one summer and it was the funniest thing my mates and I had ever seen. It was packed and everyone was howling with laughter so much that it hurt. It hurt so much you wanted him to stop, but you also wanted him to carry on as it was just the best feeling. Pure delivery - no need for jokes, just delivery. I'll tell yer that! Yer bleeder! Ehy?
