Watching charlie through these ... he reminds me of Yoda from star wars !! :D

A little bit. He's been the master for more than four decades. And he was taught by Hall of Famer Hoyt Wilhelm who was born back in 1922. So, Charlie mentored me, but, by the transitive property, I was actually mentored by Wilhelm... right? Wilhelm is the blue floating Jedi ghost who taught Yoda... what I'm trying to say is that the knuckleball info passed down to me echoes through baseball history.

@@KnuckleballNation I had a former friend back in the day we use to pitch to each other ... he had a REALLY good one that would have been MLB pitch level .. but he couldnt see himself entering baseball. Such a waste. Thanks again for all the knowledge of the pitch .. I never was able to get close to one then 6-7 rotations ... maybe at 51 now I could !! ha

Hi chris, do you remember that japanese guy ryo sanegawa that came to the clinic in 2016? Im curios of what niekro had to say about his knuckleball
@KnuckleballNation7 ай бұрын
I do remember him and he threw a good one but it went nowhere. I believe he works the front office for the Orix Buffaloes in the Japanese major leagues. He may be a social media director? He used to keep in touch but I haven't heard from him in a while.

@@KnuckleballNationwhat do you mean it went no where ? Like it didn’t move that much? Is everyone’s knuckleball different
@KnuckleballNation6 ай бұрын
@@Elijahgavi No. As in, he didn't play professionally.

Chris, sometimes you have to sit down with a kid and tell him he cannot pitch. This one does not have the makeup for it either mechanically or mentally. He does have some rudimentary physical abilities. Best to shift him over to another position or encourage him to choose another sport while he's still young enough to adapt.

Lol wth is wrong with you , if a kid wants to pitch hes gonna pitch no matter what
@wheelinthesky3003 ай бұрын
@@vikkels He's gonna throw. Probably against a wall. Whether he's pitching is another question

The balls should have a stripe for practice so the spin can be seen easily. Just a thought…

I've done this in the past then was accused of faking the Knuckleballs that I recorded, but you are right. We should do that for knuckleball training regardless of what the Internet thinks

Kid is letting off audible groans of discomfort when he throws the knuckleball.
