This is why when I generally don’t hire kids out of college. Most of my interviews reveal that they need reprogramming. We don’t have time for that. Meanwhile I hired a kid years ago right out of high school through one of our employees and he's running one of my departments. I watched him for about six months and saw the determination in everything he did. I offered to pay for half of our trade school costs. He took it and he's now a big part of our family. If you don't have to go to college don't. Save your time and money. My folks make more than most college grads and are far happier.

What she is doing is, frankly, being extremely condescending. But she won't admit it. She starts out by asking if democracy is a core American value, only to admit a minute later that she knows, and is in favor of, representative government, which is not pure democracy. She never really comes right out and just explicitly states what her beef with the political right happens to me. That we have a problem with the state of modern education? Does she think that truth emanates from the university? When they sense the other person starts making a good point to rebut their argument they interrupt and attempt to take over the conversation. They're too self involved to listen to an opposing viewpoint because they have sense of intellectual superiority.
