I’ve watched my previously favorite aunt and uncle gradually spiraling down into leftism the longer they’ve worked in academia. My aunt retired from a religious university practically an atheist. My uncle still works at a public university despite being almost 80, and he’s devoted to the legacy media and leftist narrative, despite functioning as a capitalist his whole life. Universities don’t educate anymore, and the students aren’t intellectual elites like they used to be. Everybody goes to college, which means a degree means nothing anymore. 90% of my college friends aren’t even working in their degree field, including my spouse and myself. What a joke, and it’s on us.

Same with my husband and I went to college 4 year Bachelor degrees neither of us use it! But we are self-employed so it all worked out but I agree with you that colleges are useless! I think we need to go back to the old ways of having apprenticeships, and more emphasis on trade schools. And at the High school level prepare kids for a career and financial independence rather than just go to college and figure it out there! I've heard from my graduated nieces and nephews that they don't teach kids about banking, writing checks, reconciling a bank statement, making a budget, 401 k plans or savings accounts. Also stuff like leasing or buying a car, or getting a car loan from a credit union before going to the dealership. Schools aren't teaching the basics anymore and that's why we have a block of young healthy people not working with an astronomical college debt hanging over their heads!

If the government and people from the next state over had taken your land, your family’s and neighbors land, bulldozed your neighborhood down to build their own neighborhoods. Killed your people un-proportionally when the anger boiled over and your people attacked them. This has go on for 70 years. I’m positive all of these defenders of Israel would see it differently if they were put in that situation. They just can’t see past their Christian connections to Israel.

Hamas has just gone and killed civilians. The West has done nothing to help the Palestinians as Israel keeps taking more and more of their territory however. It's the fault of the West that it has come to this. First the West decided to take some of their land and give it to Jews in exchange for helping the Palestinians. Since then, Israel has kept taking more and more and these guys are relying on killing civilians because they could never take on Israel's army. It's a very crappy situation. Israel will now smash the Palestinians even more in retaliation. Hamas however, did not attack Israel, they attacked people in their land, which has been occupied. Still no excuse for attacking civilians. Charlie Kirk was not impartial on his stance and this other guy cannot defend Hamas as not being a terrorist organisation when they are literally flaunting their hostages, who are civilians.
