Thank you Mr Shut! Have on an old cassette I taped back in 1988 off of WSDS 1480 AM in Ypsilanti, Mich. Sounds great after being in metro DEtroit which is seemin like a lifetime right about now. That 14 year old kid on that accoustic guitar could give ole Bill Napier a run for his money.

Thanks a lot for your nice comment! You can see more info about Charlie Moore on his Facebook page I have set up. I was lucky to have met him in 1974 in Corinth NY and have toured and recorded with him in 1976 and 1979, the year he died. Would it be possible to make a copy for me of that cassette tape??? I can send you a CD copy of some live tapes I have of Charlie Moore. best wishes, Dennis Schut

My vintage 1987 JVC dual cassette deck died about 3 years ago,,,,playback and record so I can no longer make copies like I used to. I picked up a 1978 JVC single cassette deck playback only so sorry, I cant make copies anymore. Bummer too because I have 10 unused new cassette tapes still in the wrapper. I should have picked up a dual cassette deck, it wouldnt have cost that much more off ebay. Even though those few Charlie Moore songs were taped off AM and not the greatest reception due to the low wattage of the station, it still sounded good back then but your cleaned up CD version sounds great. That must have been incredible to have met and actually played with ole Charlie, one of the most under rated bluegrass artists of all time. I'll attempt to locate a friend that still may have an old dual cassette deck that still works and copy the few tunes I have from back in the late 80s from that old AM radio station. Im one of the few old timers left that still deal with vinyl and audio tape.
