i love the simplicity of this video. i think it’s perfect for the song’s message and tone. it shows how low and empty charlie felt during that hard time, and the way his demeanor changed from looking sad to smiling during certain lines encapsulates how conflicting it feels when you’re betrayed. you’re in so much disbelief you almost have to laugh, like “wow, well this shit sucks” yk? i really like that this was so raw, and how in his anger he broke the guitar. it shows a lot of emotion in a very simple, straightforward way. charlie did a great job on this song and i’m really proud of how open he’s being about his mental health (especially in the vertical video version). i hope he’s doing much better now and i wish him nothing but the best
