I remember this concert very well.It was actually a Steel Pulse concert along with Ziggy Marley plus Machel and Pranasonic express. when it was Roots time to perform Rudder told the crowd that “this is a fete” and he said come to the stage...He didn’t had to tell us twice.Great show.

Pure genius right from the start. Charlie's Roots always had originality their style, their range, and within' their music. David Rudder & Tambu were the best 2 lead vocalists for the band. Pelham Goddard who is the founder of Charlie's Roots is like a Otis Williams. Who formed The Temptations in the 60's. I love this Soca Brass Band very much. I have most of their records throughout the years expect from 1983. Thank you so much for posting this. Tambu was one of my main favorites. I know he is now a born again Christian and only sing for Jesus Christ. I can respect that. Good for him that he has found peace and live a humble blessed clean life. But we still have Mr. David Michael Rudder breaking down all barriers with his conscious messages in his music.
