Wow... not rare, extremely rare. This is probably the only behind the scene featurette that we will ever get to see. Thank you so much for uploading this, it's one of my favourite movies of all time

No doubt! Glad I found this! The Boys Next Door I saw one night when trying to sleep back in the early 90s. It was on late night TV and I only saw part of it. I saw it again after finally figuring out what it was called in the early 2000s. I have the DVD of it I like it so much.

Max Caulfield is THE star of this movie. Sure, it helped that Charlie Sheen was along for the ride, but Caulfield's portrayal of a dormant killer who suddenly lets loose with all he has is one of the most chilling things I've ever seen. This movie is highly underrated.

I agree 100%. Watching Max go straight gangster in this film is mind-blowing. The scene where he absolutely beats the orange juice out of that girl still haunts today. And that scene alone is probably why we dont see much of this film today.

They weren't serial killers. It was a spontaneous spree of murders. Big difference. And Bo didn't actually kill anyone but Roy as I recall. I never agreed with the poster of this movie and the attempt to group Bo and Roy with notorious killers. Still a cool movie though.

I went to look at the Hero cars when they were offered for sale in the paper by the production company while the movie was in "post". They told me it was called "The Killers." And that Charlie Sheen's son was in it. Their office was in a couple of mobile homes in Santa Monica. "Hey this guy wants to see the production cars." They just pointed to them in the parking lot across the way. I didn't buy either of the two matching cars because they were somewhat over priced compared to what better muscle cars were bringing. I saw a guy this year at a So Cal car show with what he said was "the" car. Little did he know I wrote down the vin's of both. (misplaced now) I can tell you this: One was a 73 Satellite and the other was a 73 Road Runner with the hood replaced with a Satellite hood. I'm pretty sure both were 73's. Both had chrome steel wheels with little holes that were the cheapest aftermarket wheel you could buy at Pep Boys at the time. It seemed like they were about 25 or 30 1985 dollars each. They would be considered trailer wheels today. It took me 30 years to see the actual movie. Really, to even find it since the name was changed. It was actually pretty mediocre. The violence seemed extreme and inexplicable. I guess several more popular movies before this one did the same , so maybe they were copying those.

BO WAS JUST BEING ROY'S FRIEND NOT HIS & KIND OF TRYING TO KEEP HIM FROM DOING WHAT WAS DOING & LOOKING AT ROY'S VICTIMS WHO SMALLER, WEEKER, PUNY, HE WAS NOT A PSCHOPATH IN MY OPINION! YOU DID NOT SEE ROY STEP TO ANY BIG GOLDBERG, SCHWARTZENEGGER, LOU FERRIGNO HULKING 6'5 BODYBUILDING STUDS, YOU DID NOT SEE ROY STEP TO ANY CALIFORNIA STATE BOXERS OR CALIFORNIA MARTIAL ART TYPE DUDES, HE & BO STAYED CLEAR OF L.A GANG TERRITORIES, SO HE KNEW WHO TO PRAY ON & HE DIDN'T CHALLENGE ANY JEAN CLAUDE VANDAMME TYPE GUYS EITHER LIKE KILLER THAT PUNY WEEK GAY FELLOW, LETS SEE ROY TRY & SHAKE TO DEATH A BIG HULK LIKE LOU FERRIGNO, HE GET GORILLA PRESS SLAMED & DROPED ON HIS FACE!
