“CUZ MY HEART, IS YEARNING”!!! Man Charlie Wilson can SING!! Full voice, LOUD , and precise. His tone is what you call a truly RICH TONE. Aside from having such a distinguishable voice, he doesn’t dodge the “ higher” notes because his muscle memory ( vocal cords) are so strong 💪 responsive , and just a blessing to listen to. A solo artist obviously, yet his voice is only magnified if and when he sings with fellow artists, aside from his humility and charismatic charm, the actual voice is undeniably Charlie , and always with direction, NEVER LOST . I don’t hold much accredited knowledge or documented musical achievement, but I love singers. To me it’s gods way of manifesting his creativity;nevertheless, Charlie Wilson voice is prophetic, and arguably the best ever. I say this to say because we live in a time where there are many of a lot of people and things, however, its RARE when you have the chance to listen to true STARS. An Infatuating set of pipes !!once again, this is what you also call a once in a generation voice. Thanks for reading !!🌹

It seems like I am the only teenager who listens to Charlie Wilson, Johnny Gill, Luther Vandross, Marvin Gaye. The list goes on. And I can't believe I am working with the people that worked with or are working with some of them.

I am in no way hating when I say this. I love Uncle Charlie, but after watching and hearing this song for thru 100th time. He did not fully sing this song. if you at this closely, he lipped sing this song at this concert. He still sounds great and I love his music
@Wally-H10 жыл бұрын
Yes, it's a strange performance. When he does sing some parts properly he sounds great, so why lip sync it at all? One possibility is that the band couldn't reproduce the music, and they didn't have a backing track without the vocals. It is obvious that most of the musicians aren't actually playing (look at the keyboard player, he isn't even depressing the keys).
@brunoamedoreiii106 жыл бұрын
you are wrong, but back-up vocals, which were him also, made it seem that way
@music66swan5 жыл бұрын
@@Wally-H my friend I'm a musician I can tell you there is no lip sinking all the instruments are being played there is no backing track .he is easing off the gas during moments and singing with the background singers. To take a break from demands he puts on his vocal performances . This is likely due to exhaustion as Charlie is in his late sixties and gigs extensively . he was ripped off during his years with the gap band and left with no money ended up a crack addict homeless on the streets and had to start all over and rebuild his career again as a solo artist . I don't know any artist his age or younger that can deliver the vocal performances of charlie wilson .this is a one of a kind master of soul & blues.god bless and protect him .
