PX2 Ranger cooler and pipe upgrade

Upgrading the intercooler and piping on my wifes PX2 Ranger. Great gains

Remove the tube from airbox to the inner guard too. Remap and egr tuned out its a different car to drive! Love mine

I’m doing my intercooler soon and I’ve watched a view videos. At this stage it is looking like it’s going to be less hassle just to remove the bumper. I don’t have a bull bar. The grill is fairly easy to remove, but those plastic shrouds are a pain. Some people just cut them off and then throw them away. Others remove the bumper and then cut out the shrouds so they fit around the bigger intercooler.

Good video. Seems like your going same direction as me. I’ve got my pipes on but haven’t been able to get the grill off to do the cooler. I got a 3 inch dpf back from dea for only $550 delivered. Noticed the same with the throttle response as well drives completely different. I have got a stage 2 from pro charge in vic ready to bolt on as well . Cheers

The grill has two vertical bolts, one right and one left of the intercooler, near the bottom. Then it clips out. There is no real way to disengage the clips. So some force is required. Pull the grill forward on the one side first to disengage the clips then do the other side. I think there are four clips on each side.

Was wondering how your bought the bar forward, was it loosening the three bolts on the side of the chassis rail?

i pulled it off but just sat it on a milk create. yes the chassis rail bolts
