i had moe automatically move on my island at the very beginning in one of the diy houses. he does have a funky look, but oh my god after having him on my island and becoming friends with him, he slowly became one of my favorites. i ended up letting him leave but he is always one of my faves.

This might sound like a radical idea. What if, instead of recruiting dreamies that support you unconditionally, you recruited folks who would challenge you and would stymie you. Face it, games of this type are a bit of a power fantasy. You create a system where you are in total charge. That wouldn't happen irl. People would object, rightfully so.
