I remember in my early twenties, I was still using drugs.. and I was on a greyhound from San Diego, CA to Allentown, PA, and I had about $600 USD. When we got to Albuquerque, we had like a 2 hour layover, I left the bus station and met this homeless kid named Cliff.. went to the hood and got right. I missed my connecting bus and thankfully greyhound hooked me up the next day. But, i've been in many cities and hoods all across the United States, and ABQ is definitely a strange place. Maybe it's cause i'm from the northeast (NJ).. but the southwest has a weird vibe to it IMO.

@@Rufus1318 No it is not...Albuquerque is located at roughly the same altitude as Denver and even higher at points, at the base of an 11,000 ft mountain in the Rio Grande Valley, with multiple land types...none of which are desert. Semi-Desert Plateau is about as close as it gets toward the West and NW outside of Albuquerque. As you get closer to Texas and Oklahoma you get high plains...but not in Albuquerque. We call what you think of as Desert, Mesa. It does have a similar landscape to a Chihuahuan desert...but it's not one till almost Texas / Mexico. These aren't even the real hoods in Albuquerque. You're mostly filming the suburbs as far as I can tell. You want to know how someone can tell when you're in the hood? When you see low income trashy apartment complexes around lol. I didn't see one with this video except houses!!! 😂

actually he was filming off trumbull which is the worst area in the city. its just albuquerque is well maintained

3:54 you drove right past my Aunt's house on Kentucky off Louisiana (backyard alley) there. I've been to that Sais store many times over the years. (It was called "Circle Square R" or something like that before, and was originally a Circle K I think.) ***One time I was napping at my aunt's house and I heard "POLICE!" I got up and went into the living room and there were 3 SWAT officers standing IN the kitchen with AR15 rifles holding at low-ready toward me, asking me if there was anyone else in the house. They did a sweep. They said an armed perp who was involved in a shooting ran and jumped the fence there behind the market in the alley and possibly came into our dwelling. ...Welcome to Albuquerque.

You should drive through the mean streets of Canada....I think we have one or two of them...though the people will say sorry....

well I mean he went to Windsor already ... he went to Toronto too but as we both probably know Toronto is pretty boring ... where do you think he should go? Hamilton?
@krisius14 жыл бұрын
sovietchampagne it was sarcasm. Not much to see here. Probably downtown east side Vancouver would be the biggest shock for people.
