To market your new business, you'll need a website. Build + host your website for less than $3/month with Hostinger (Use code CHARLIECHANG for an exclusive discount): hostinger.com/charliechang ^Most affordable, easy way to build your business website. Marketing is key, so I hope you create your business website sooner rather than later. And if you're watching this video, know that the 9 to 5 is right for some people. For others, it's not. You'll know deep down, and I hope you realize you only have 1 life. So go after the things you want because you'll regret it if you don't. Starting a business was the best decision of my life and I am thankful every day I took that first step. Happy business building! -Charlie

Been watching you for years and was a big part of my inspiration and entrepreneurship education. I'm almost 2 years in having my business and am almost ready to leave my job for 7 years for my business full time. This will be a big and scary jump, but necessary. Thank you for your content. For context - started building websites which led to passive income for hosting. Kept your advice about a high value skill in focus. Added other services like SEO and branding. I've recently picked up my part 107 as a commercial drone pilot and have enough services available to maintain a consistent stream of clients and income.

thats awesome! I've been a full time entrepreneur for about 7 years.... it can take a minute but its definitely smarter to wait until you have been steady in business before you quit.... SOOO many people get a week or month of entrepreneurship success and just up and quit their job..... 2 months later when their business is going terribly. Congrats on your success.. keep crushing it. NOTE: its normal to have many moments you feel you will be out of business (its happends to me all the time) .... stick to your guns, put back money for slow cycles

A solid video, but honestly I would caution everyone to really know what the hell they are getting into before just quitting. It all sounds glorious until you get to the grind and realize that it isn't built for everyone. Personally, I enjoy working both full-time for a company and for myself on KZbin. But no BS, it is not for everyone.

How to prevent burnout and getting sick while maintaining 9-5 job and building side hustle business? How to stay healthy?
@ShaunSurgener
@ShaunSurgener Ай бұрын
that's the million dollar question... i think burnout comes more from how you are approaching everything. I think part of the key is focusing on values you are obtaining more than the tasks that need to be done. Its never the amount of tasks we get burned out by.. it's how we relate it to time. So just keep looking at the bigger picture.. and take moments out to breath and enjoy

You'll never achieve long term wealth/prosperity tied to a desk working for someone else. Break out, find your niche and build it. Alas, for 99%.......this is too hard to do, that's why they remain stuck, complaining and never making their lives better.

i might give this a try offering my skills on fivr. While also trying out a youtube channel. problem with offering a service is that i am likely to focus on what i did in my 9-5. And if the purpose is to leave the 9-5 then it kind of doesn't help, but i like the idea i can charge more if i work for myself.

We have $2,500 in savings, and now my husband is the only provider and his monthly income ranges between 6-8k monthly. I couldn’t do it anymore, mentally I broke DOWN because my sales job had not produced income in 2 months, where I myself was used to getting 6-8k a month on my own!
