I don't care what anyone else says. This is the best adaptation of Roald Dahl's book, and by far one of my favorite musicals. It's definitely superior to the Broadway version. Plus the original cast of this show... is amazing. Jack Costello as Charlie, Douglas Hodge as Wonka... nothing can ever beat this.

I like how they actually use CHILDREN to play the children. Adults just don't work as well. So what if they want us to "suspend disbelief"? I think this version is more realistic!

The songs are so catchy! I sometimes sing the songs myself quietly. Also, the concept and storyline of the show are unforgettable! I want this to come to broadway!

He is just wonderful as Wonka, maybe it's the combination of everything, the voice, the acting, the costume (wich is the most accurate Wonka according to his description on the book) Hell, even when i read the book i can't take his voice out of my mind

The London cast is the best! I watched the broadway version last week, and it’s nothing on a par with the one I watched in London a few years ago! :) The way how characters are interpreted has totally gone wrong in the Broadway version, not to mention the four kids are all played by adults... and the set and singing are much worse!
