Just ordered the curling rods! Really excited to try this. I've always been apprehensive about heatless curls because I don't want to sleep in something uncomfortable but this looks promising!!!

@@DirtRoadsOverload it definitely gave my hair body and volume, but no lasting curls 😭😂 my hair just doesn't hold any curl. Even my wedding hair stylist didn't know what to do with me when she saw how fast the curls fall. We settled on beachy waves and that's all I can get. Even from these rods.

So cute!! Consider me influenced 😄😉 I love heatless curls (I just did the silk rod method last night) but I want to try this. The voluminous front sold me. I would love to see easy/cute summer hairstyles or clean makeup tutorials. Thank you for the tutorial! Edit: I just tried this... y'all... it worked very well. @@simbathekitten7894 It didn’t really give a blowout look, and it gave me a really bad headache, and my scalp hurt so bad when I took it out. I’ve tried it many times and still does the same thing. So, take that as you will! ❤💕

@lobbyhoe4924 for me, it’s been best to use with SLIGHTLY damp hair (like use a spray bottle for a quick mist over your hair) so it stays longer the next day. It def takes a few tries to get it right. But when you do your hair will literally look just like hers in the video 🙌

trying this tn… i’m not sure it’s going to work because most overnight blowouts don’t work for me, but i will let you guys know what happens! edit: it really did work! i recommend using hairspray the morning _before_ you take out the socks/curling rods. i have really thick hair, so the curls only lasted like 2-3 hours lol. if anyone has any tips for the curls to last longer, please tell me!

maybe use mousse on ur hair before putting in the overnight curls? and maybe get stronger hairstyle for thick hair, I also have thick hair and the hairspray that really worked for me and lasted the whole day is amika intense holding hairspray. :)

try a curling gel after u wash ur hair and when u put conditioner make sure to brush ur hair in the shower with the conditioner it makes it more curly. I also have thick hair but I get it thinned out after my haircuts. You could try that! Hope this helps

The honest to God truth is that you need heat. It doesn’t work or work for very long because nothing has truly happened to change the shape of your hair. There’s a girl I saw who does a heat blowout once a week and then uses the heatless method to keep the shape overnight. But heat is necessary to create long lasting bounce.

You could also use hair mousse ! I have thick hair and this method lasted me 2 DAYS!! Really effective and i totally recommend it

It looks like you have less hair wrapped in the front in the morning because you can see the part, where as when you first rolled it in the evening you went so far back the part would have been at the back of your crown and not in the middle of the top of your head. I'm thinking less hair in the front would cause better, tighter curls like you have in the front and face framing.

I have very slippery hair and it’s very thin, but my problem is that the curls don’t hold for more than half an hour and I tried hairspray and hair oil but second problem my hair gets greasy easily if I use to much or too many hair products

This does NOT work for me 🥲🥲🥲 I don’t have the little rolls, I tried socks like the mentioned but it did not have any structure at all and wouldn’t hold. And idk how she brushed her hair to the front so easily, mine got sooo knotted and I had to brush so much, and even then the edges kept falling out and didn’t stay at all. I couldn’t even finish, my hair was just falling out everywhere.

I don't have the thing she used in the video either, instead I took a pair of long socks and sewed it in the middle then stuffed it with some cotton, then sewed it again so the cotton wouldn't come out and I used the outher parts to tie them together

Do it when your hair is damp, use hairspray before (and after if you want) you take the curlers out idk if this will help
