Large cabins are a thing. I don't know what differences they are, other than "Large" because I haven't got there yet, but there are other options later.

Curious how realistic this will be, like, as in real cruise ships, all crew cabins are on lower decks, except the bridge officers, AFAIK, with most of the other facilities, and the upper decks being cabins and passenger amenities. Hopefully you play long enough to get an Oasis of the Seas level of cruise ship, and the devs open it up to global cruising, where you can start anywhere in the world, and also offer world cruises.

You kind of can. At the beginning for sure, but later you'd have to use two floors for crew and then that'd be some wasted space if dedicated to crew only. There's also "storage rooms" which are basically janitors room and they are kind of large and I have them on the lower deck. I'm surprised he hasn't used storage rooms yet, removes the manual cleaning of rooms and janitors will do it automatically. I'm currently with 21 crew and 2 storage rooms so not enough room on bottom deck for all crew and storage rooms.

Wait… 300 provisions @ $0.80c = $360…. It would be cheaper to buy they at $1.00 each…

Nobody sells them for $1 to me, just like nobody sells them for .8. Remember, add 50% to every purchase, even when it ain’t displaying it. Because 300 units at .80 should have been $240 - but you have to add $120 (50%) more to that.
