I felt the same. He is the most powerful and captivating artist in the UK, but seems shut out of the scene by people scared of his level of self awareness and his struggles with mental health. Add his political beliefs which caused controversy when his first FITB was cut by the BBC when he said ‘free Palestine’; and he won’t ever be seen as marketable. His career like Lowkey and Akala has to be built up by just hard graft alone. It’s a crime he could stay unseen by people who deserve an opportunity to hear what quality rap actually sounds like.

@relentlesstruth89425 жыл бұрын
Vitamin G .. totallt agree with you. He was humbled to be there because since that FITB cypher few years ago, a lot of people dont know that ghetts, deadly and saff one basically boyd Mic off that nas beat and righteous then saw and felt that unless your from 'the endz' aka london, birmingham, manchester etc then there aint no space for you and the rappers and industry wont give you the same appreciation. This is what fed Mics alter ego and then... ENRER MIC RECKLESS!! Now ppl got him pissed and the industry hasnt been showing him the same love.. he hasnt been getting the same calls from platforms like SBTV etc as all these trash rappers and he felt like everyone in the industry was airing him out. So when sloth called and asked him to come thru it meant absolutely everything to Mic. This why he shows so much love for Charlie Sloth. For always recognising real and staying true. Trust me if Sloth asked Mic to off someone for him i bet Mic wpuld actually consider it for a moment. Thats the love between Sloth and Mic. BIG UP SLOTH ON THIS ONE BRO..
