Fun fact about this night: many had no idea who was gonna be there. They just thought it was gonna be a ceremony to honor Stevie. When Bey came out, the crowd went bananas because they didn’t know she’d be there. A buddy of mine was there and he said he left there a huge new fan of hers. He was blown away.

This right here brother this is what separates her from the rest. Not because of just her vocals but her ability to sing and move and do all that not even have a backing track just sheer vocals while moving through 3 songs is why she's the goat performer. I was sitting there like her stamina is ridiculous her peers put her on such a high pedestal is because she is just different bro. The funny thing is her voice didn’t change much after childbirth. When she played Eta James in Cadillac Records she showcased more of the “power” and grit in her voice. She also has some songs like “Ring The Alarm” and even more so “Lost Yo Mind” where she lets go more. But singing like that can damage your voice and Beyoncé is for sure smart when it comes to her voice, so she managed how she sung very well throughout her career. She’s older now and she’s not touring as much as she once was so she’s able to let go and give more power or grit without really worrying about the long term effects it can have on your voice. That’s why even before when people talked about Beyoncé and didn’t think she had a very powerful voice I would always point to songs like “Lost Yo Mind” which wasn’t released in the states, to show her power even when she was younger.
@LiTim173 жыл бұрын
Lol her voice definitely changed after child birth, it changed for the better though! You mentioned a very underrated song, lost yo mind is amazing!! Imagine her singing that with a darker tone… it’d be such a wonderful experience.
@devronl083 жыл бұрын
@@LiTim17 I still stick by what I said. I don’t think her voice changed much after childbirth. Her voice has been maturing with age and getting slightly darker over the years. She was able to tap into it even before childbirth, I think it’s just the natural profession of her voice. Yeah, it was such an underrated song, but it showcased her voice in a very different way then most people heard especially during that time in the mid 2000’s when it came out. I’m not saying childbirth wasn’t a factor but I didn’t hear much of a change after childbirth. I study music and voice and I’ve been hearing the natural progression of her voice over the years. Women usually reach the vocal peak in the mid 30’s to 40’s if they take care of their voice and Beyoncé has always taken great care of hers. This just seems like the natural peak progression of her voice.

II" Beyonce and Ed Sheeran - "Jammin'" Beyonce, Ed Sheeran and Gary Clark Jr. - "Higher Ground" Tony Bennett - "For Once in My Life" John Legend - "I Believe (When I Fall in Love It Will Be Forever") Annie Lennox - "My Cheri Amour" Lady Gaga - "I Wish" Andrea Bocelli - "I Just Called to Say I Love You" Ariana Grande and Babyface - "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours" The Band Perry - "You Haven't Done Nothin'" Ed Sheeran - "I Was Made to Love Her" Janelle Monae, India.Arie, Jill Scott - "As" Pharrell Williams and Ryan Tedder - "Don't You Worry 'Bout a Thing" Jennifer Hudson - "All is Fair in Love" Ne-Yo with Aisha Wonder - "Isn't She Lovely" Stevie Wonder - "Contusion", "Sir Duke", "You Are the Sunshine of My Life", "Ribbon in the Sky", "Overjoyed", "Superstition" Stevie Wonder and all singers - "Happy Birthday", "Another Star"

This is my first time seeing this and I LOVE that you were emotional in the beginning and at the end of this. Stevie Wonder and Beyoncé (With Prince being the third) are the artist of my life. I know how different they are in terms of era and music, but if you listen to them and see them, they are so similar. Their music, their character and their impact changed my life and made me appreciate music, artistry, and spirituality in God.
@blackkatt7773 жыл бұрын
Omg! I'm only a minute and 4 seconds in and I had to pause the video. Just started to almost ugly cry, the moment you said Stevie Wonder was like second to God. He is my spirit animal. I have spent my entire life with the consciousness of his music and passion to educate and elevate us that we are just unworthy. To me, he is a prophet sent by god to humble us. The idea that a blind man can not only be a prodigy but also see the world as it should be....clearer than we do. He is the soundtrack to my life ( him, Patti Labelle and Prince). The voice of truth and of a powerful entity in itself. It has moved and stirred the fires in my soul to make me always aware of the world around me, and how to have passion and compassion in balance. Now. I will press play to hear the rest of your wonderful reaction. But just on this one minute and four seconds alone.....you've got a new subbie. One love. Just moments later.... Oh. I have a great gospel song that still stirs my soul and makes me cry to this day. I KNOW I'VE BEEN CHANGED. Here's the link, if it helps. kzbin.info/www/bejne/g4DIi2ebl6mXq5o
