Lovely vid, prices are a bit crazy as many of the restaurants on Brick Lane cater to tourists, food is cheaper around the rest of Whitechapel. If you haven't already, try Feast & Mishti buffet. Also if youre looking for a spot to film there's a nice park/green area called Allen Gardens just off Brick Lane.

6/7 years ago when I was working near Aldgate station I would go to Al-Badar Fried Chicken and get 4 nuggets, decent sized portion of chips and a can for £2.50. They also had a 2nd side to their restaurant that done curries Just checked on google maps as was looking for the pizza's location, and was showing it is located at the same place? as it's next door to the Cafe& Grill where you stand and eat the pizza, and across the road from Epra Fabrics & Amar'Gaon. Guessing Google street car has not been down Brick Lane in a while. Shame if it has closed was a nice cheap place to get a reasonable bit of food.

Sitting here in Bangkok,well done son,£3 for a biryani,unbelievable,I will be in the for one next time I am in east London,I had a double pie and mash in Canning Town about a month back,I live for travel and cheap food,in Bangkok there is pleanty of dishes for £1.20 but when you consider the minimum wage in the uk is 8 times the minimum wage in Thailand,that biryani takes some beating,please show me so more cheap food in London.

When I visit UK I always stick to British restaurants and British food, if I need a bit of change then I walk into Chinese restaurants. Being an Indian I don’t visit any Indian restaurants cause the portion size for the price you pay doesn’t match there and that is in comparison to the British restaurants. Moreover I think visiting UK from India and having Indian food there is ridiculous.
