Charlize Theron on Her Fluctuating Weight: 'My Body Flipped Me Off'

“Extra’s” Terri Seymour sat down with Charlize Theron and Mackenzie Davis as they promoted their film “Tully.”
Theron packed on the pounds for the role, which was not easy. She said, “I’m older and I dealt with depression for the first time. I herniated a disk in my back and the pregnancy belly weighed another close to 40 pounds on top of that, so I was carrying 90 pounds.”
The process to shed the weight was “horrible” for Theron, who explained, “My body kind of flipped me off during the whole process.” She revealed that it took a year and a half to lose the weight.
“Tully” hits theaters May 4.
