😂🤣😂 exactly what i was thinking , and i also think she can't explain how she makes her kicks and hats and rides in the mix like using sidechain compression or sidechain reverb and automations . I think it's a bit of a shame that she just opens a full project and plays some channels, without even a bit of technical explanation. And for someone with such a big name position and salary it's even a bigger shame that she don't even record her audio directly from her interface in to her video😅 😥 Now I have some thoughts about her qualities . I hope i'm roung 🙏 But outside of this video she does pretty well 👍👍

A guy called Dave Robinson makes her music it’s written on all the credits of her records. The thing is none of this matters the majority of people don’t care about this because they don’t understand what goes on when you are getting your music written by a ghost producer. I mean she got producer of the year for goodness sake!!! It’s like me getting driver of the year but it was actually Lewis Hamilton driving the car for me.

There is nothing wrong in using ghost producers, especially if you start your DJ career into clubs and not in your studio. Top DJs play their music EACH day around the world and it's obvious that they have not time to create music. During the 90s DJ and producers were two radically separated categories..the formula "be a great producer and you will be a popular DJ" is a relatively new fiction. A fiction to persuade people to create music basically for free.
@Bkoded5 жыл бұрын

@@tmengucor Agree, the only thing right now is that its harder to seperate yourself as a 'dj', people want you to be a producter and DJ otherwise your just a 'dj'. So at least you need some 'own' tracks that are really unique compared to all the music that is allready out there.

@gtagta80867 ай бұрын
Listeners are not at all interested in the process by which she arrives at the song, they are interested in the final product that they enjoy. Her fans won't even watch this video, it will be watched by fellow producers, for whom this video is targeted in order to advertise beatport products. The only ones who bother with her process are fellow producers who are envious of her because of her commercial success, fame and status, while at the same time claiming that they don't care about those things, which is hypocritical. If you don't appreciate her work and you're not interested in profit and fame, no one is stopping you from making music for yourself to enjoy :) You dont seem to understand what the term producer means. A producer is not an artist, you can call him that if you want because art is subjective, you can also call a mathematician an artist if you want. The producer is a product manager. His job is to deliver a product. The producer doesn't even have to see the project in a DAW, he can delegate the work to a songwriter, arranger, sound designer, etc. and control the entire process so that the product he wants is reached. It would be like someone saying that a product manager in a software company is "cheating" and not a "real" producer, because he hired UX designers, graphic designers and engineers to work on the product. The producer is first and foremost a marketer, his job is to deliver a product that will satisfy the needs of the target group. You people don't understand that. You think that being a producer means physically clicking something on the computer, doing some kind of physical work, personally designing every sound or something, that she must be some kind of creator/artist or something.

@@Daferpare well, I mean: all of this bullshit has no sense to me. A DJ's task is to select good records, mix 'em and make the crowd go nuts. There's no need to pretend you make the music aswell.
