On September 6, 2024, Amir Adnani, President and CEO of Uranium Energy Corp (UEC), purchased 60,000 shares of the company, as reported in a recent SEC Filing. Following this transaction, the insider now owns 4,242,326 shares of Uranium Energy Corp. He now sets up a company with Johnson, consulting governments on nuclear energy. Employs Baroness Owen on a large salary to look good on the letter heading and wear short skirting as she advises government where ro buy gheir Uranium and an ex minister to the board to "promote clean energy". You cannot get corruption more in your face.

It’s detail like this I haven’t the time or inclination to research, well done. The more stuff like this in the open and the more corruption is brought to light.

My guess is that it's not so much about what they have, but rather what they know.

HoL does have a role, but it just seems to be a vehicle for rewarding cronies.

Charlotte Owen odd jobbed around the House of Commons, then she found her way into Boris Johnsons Chamber, I think says it all Professor. And just maybe this is where she gained her so called experience. I smell a rat Mr Speaker.

The House of Lords is a retirement home for politicians who have not served their country, but served the corrupt establishment. Too many hands in the till and if you don’t say anything, then neither will I mentality.

It was little rishi who blocked mad nads, but holding grudges about reality TV 🤔 How did Owens and Ross get into the house 🏡 of lord's is a reality worth questioning. 👍

“Boris could have had Dorries in the House of Lords at any time?” Given the things he got up to in the Commons, that is a contentious statement!
@Ayeyermaw13 күн бұрын
Owen probably did a better ---- job than Dorries and for less money??? (you kind of answered your own question when you said she 'played the flute'???).

My guess is that Owens and /or Kempsell stumbled upon Johnson in his chamber late one night allowing Dorries to practice her Hawk Tuah skills. n

I think Johnson recommended Norris but sunak refused to send her there but I do not remember Johnson supporting her I also wonder why Cameron is still in the House of Lords what good has he ever done for our Country

It seems most likely to me that the pair of them got onto the House of Lords for the same reason as Gavin Williamson: kompromat. They must have seen some sights working close to Boris Johnson.

Boris put Dorries forward but Sunak did not approve the request. Please do get your facts right. Why don' you move on Tim, others have, they've written books, doing lucrative jobs. You're still holding grudges about Reality TV.

@nickryder9669 please see the Guardian article : Who has Boris Johnson nominated for peerages? 8 Nov 2022 Alister Jack Nadine Dorries Alok Sharma Ross Kempsell Charlotte Owen Dan Rosenfield Ben Gascoigne Ben Houchen Shaun Bailey In the Daily Mail, Dorries accuses Rishi Sunak's political team of removing her name from the list. Boris told her that he attended a 'secret' meeting [on June 2] with Rishi Sunak in Downing Street and it had been confirmed to him that his list was through and that she was on it. But Sunak's political secretary, James Forsyth, had made sure that certain names would not be on the HOLAC list, and Dorries was removed

@@Joeblogs999stop cherry picking The commission decided during vetting not to approve some of the people on the list. Its role, after all, is not to wave every request through but to evaluate nominations for life peers to “ensure the highest standards of propriety”. It appears that Dorries, Adams and Sharma had been under the impression for months they would be on the final list. But it has become clear now that in order to join the Lords, they were meant to have either quit the Commons already or informed the commission they were planning to do so. Downing Street has taken the highly unusual step of declassifying the list of Boris Johnson's proposed peers, which was approved by the House of Lords Appointments Commission (HOLAC). They did this to "prove" that the PM had not lied to Johnson when telling him he would approve the former prime minister's list, when they met earlier this month - and to reinforce Downing Street's claim that Rishi Sunak had not interfered to prevent Alok Sharma, Nadine Dorries or Nigel Adams receiving peerages.
