Being a huge fan of Jane Austen's novels, I had to watch the ITV adaption of Jane Austen's unfinished novel, Sanditon.I absolutely loved it and the chemistry between Charlotte and Sidney was stunning; unfortunately the ending was not what I had hoped for: I hated it, it was so out of Jane Austen style, so I'm just gonna pretend they ended up together. I'm still hoping for season 2 though.

I hope so too, but I think it’s too late now. Amazon prime are awfully quiet. Plus the actors will move on. Don’t want to be negative but it feels a bit lost. Doesn’t it?

Lu {pandored73} I know 😥 the only tiny consolation I found is that the writers hinted that a season 2 would rectify that situation. But of course the fans dream was to actually see it and not read about it in an article.

myran78 I can only hope that these two actors will receive a proper and official recognition because they brought to life two real and intense austenean characters. All the cast made a fantastic job and we could see all this because IMHO Sanditon is one of the most valuable series that I've seen. I adored every single episode and fallen in love with Charlotte and Sidney since almost the beginning.
