Great video me and the wife are thinking more and more about North Carolina from albany NY one thing for me is I love being at the beach but I’m worried about those hurricanes down there. How close can I get to the ocean before I start worrying about hurricanes?

Hard to say. But Charlotte is 3 1/2 hours away from the water, and it’s pretty safe from hurricanes.

Hi Ken-- Summer is Humid-- I do not know what it is like in Houston. But are summers are not as intense, and don't last for 6 months :-). Even when it is cold here , skies are typically bright blue and shiny ! Happy weather most of the year . This summer was a bit rainy , but weather now is awesome !

Temperature's are going to continue to climb over the coming years, the rainfall will also increase. Plan 20 year's into the future. There will be no more snow and summer's will be longer and hotter, and don't forget the rising humidity. Not saying don't move there,,, but do your homework, ,, if you don't like humidity you may want to rethink your plans. Check any climate change map to see projected trends in weather patterns. 😊👍
