We love leftovers. My motto is cook once/eat twice. I love to cook, but I love the days when I don't have to stop & make a meal.

I am definitely NOT a leftover girl (unless it is something like pizza or lasagna). My husband on the other hand definitely is. He doesn't like to throw anything away or have anything go to waste. When things start to get older (like certain vegetables ~ potatoes, carrots, onions), he will get out his big stock pot and make some type of soup. He makes what I refer to as "concoctions" because he will throw a bunch of random things into the pot and he doesn't follow any sort of recipe. I look forward to each and every Sunday to watch your weekly home reset video. I find that it always gives me just a little bit of extra motivation to get up and get something done in my own apartment. Today I paused the video long enough to get some laundry going and I also cleaned my bathroom mirror and the top of the vanity and sink. I also got my bottled water mixed up (I don't like plain water, so I always put Crystal Light Wild Strawberry packets in the individual bottles). I dusted the nightstands and window sill in our bedroom and I vacuumed the carpet in the bedroom and walk-in closet. Before returning the Shark cordless vacuum, I would highly encourage you to allow the battery to fully charge (as you mentioned that you just took it straight from the box and used it with whatever charge it had at that point). It could be that it will work better and be more powerful once the battery is at full strength. Just a suggestion.

Hello I enjoyed your video so much. I agree it's relaxing to listen to this and other videos. I usually listen and watch them while I fold laundry or tidy the kitchen or other cleaning task. I just bought a new vacuum in Dec I had to test out several before I chose mine. I ended up with the Dreametech R20 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner. I Love it!!! I ordered from Amazon. I cannot compare it to a Dyson. However I've ordered several to compare them the Bissel, Shark and Tinco cordless. This one was so well made. I love all the features. I hope you find one you like.

Sometimes I cook a little extra (if it's something we really like) just to have leftovers. And sometimes leftovers are better the next day or a day or two later. I to hate wasting food myself. And sometimes our refrigerator's get a bit cluttered. Or I forget I bought something, and it gets forgotten. Last week here in Rochester, NY we had a wonderful week of nice weather we had several days of 50's and then on Friday we hit 62* and it was so heavenly. It was teaser weather for sure. And yes, I agree that it was just wonderful weather and I want more. And yes, they're saying a snowstorm is in the forecast. I hope Mother Nature gets the memo that the groundhog said an early spring! So ready.

My husband would eat leftovers every night until it’s gone. Me, on the other hand, will have them once in a while if it’s something I really like. As far as vacuums go, we have 7 cats and a dog (she is no longer with us 🥹) and I have a Dyson Animal I think??? I used it every day for almost 10 years and now I use it just for the furniture. We bought the newest one a few months ago. I would never switch to any other brand. I do know people who swear by Hoover. Best thing is to read the reviews on multiple sites. Thank you again for the motivation to get my housework finished. Have an amazing week!

You and Danny make a fantastic team for sure! I have had every vacuum cleaner in the universe and so far, the best for me is the Dyson. I have a dog and her hair is all over the place, this vacuum works wonderfully. RE: leftovers, I've always made either soup if I have vegetables or some kind of casserole, like taco pie or something mixed with noodles and bake it with cheese and buttered breadcrumbs on top. I never throw food away so I always "disguise" my leftovers. Works every time!

Have you ever considered cooking some of your meals and bowl and then freezing? I know it’s probably hard with so many people in your house all the time but that’s what I do so I don’t have to cook a meal from scratch every single night after getting home from working all day really tired. It really does help even just to, have your vegetables chopped up ahead of time wash the fruit put it in containers so they grab fresh fruit that’s ready to go and things like that. If I’m cooking rice and make a ton of rice, if I make chicken, I make chicken for two dinners if I make sauce, I make a big gigantic pot of sauce you know what I mean. Just a suggestion.

First of all, Charlotte, you absolutely do not look like you're turning 40. I intentionally cook to have leftovers for another meal. I don’t particularly like to cook and meal lan, so I make it count. Fortunately, my husband loves leftovers and anything I cook. I just don’t know how to cook for just 2 people! I don’t know how you do it all, but happy to see your husband and family involved routinely. I too had to separate myself from work life and home life, because each one was so consuming. Retired now and still don’t have enough time!

I would love to meal plan. But it’s just my husband and me. So I don’t need a lot. My husband will leftovers sometimes. But we’re not the best at eating leftovers. So I try to make just enough for the two of us. I’m trying to get my husband to order groceries online. And not go to the store. He always buys too much. Wait until you get my age. I’ll be 65 in June. And I wonder the same thing. I plan on cleaning my house tomorrow. I’m retired and have all the time in the world. Now I just need the energy to go along with the time. That just reminded me I need to dust my fan. I’ve been looking for something like that to clean it. I have a Dyson too. I just wish it had a light on it. And the battery on mine isn’t great. But I read somewhere that you can use Ryobi batteries with a Dyson. I’m not sure if it’s true. But I’m about ready to find out. I live in a small house and my Dyson doesn’t last longs enough to sweep the whole place. I use a steam mop on my floors. It’s so easy.

I love my Dyson vacuum. You should really think about getting the Bissel Crosswave it vacuums and mops at the same time. I have a lot of wood floors and it cleans them great. It bothers my hands and back to sweep and mop, this is soooo much easier than vacuuming and mopping.
