I saw them twice this year, the first show was in Cleveland and I loved them so much the next day I was kind of sad that it would be a while before they come back again to my city, but then I found out they are coming to Pittsburgh three months later, guess what, I drove a few hundred miles to see them again, ok i'll shut up now, i'm always gushing about my favorite band.

Different taste? They are ok, but not great. The vocalist got an peculiar voice, in a good way, but the guitar and keyboard play is kinda begninner level. There's just so much you can do with a B octave and a chord or two, if you can shuffle your finger around in time to make it sound nice. I don't want to sound too harsh as they seem like they are having fun, but you ask why. So there's that. Keep strumming that chord.

@@eatmykwad It's synth-pop with personal stories to them. I get that. I said they were ok, but not great. That's not good enough? They are an average "friends and family"-band with average music. If they had something special going on it would have shown by now. There is nothing wrong with that. There are millions of other bands out there that are worse than this.

@@Heivang The greatness of CB is in their arrangements...and the dynamics in those arrangements. They know exactly when to bring it down then amp it up. It's sonic perfection. Speaking of a million bands, I'd love see them write a song with only a 2/4 beat and the guitar only plays one note while the vocals and the rest of the band revolve around that one note. You'd have a million songs not even half as good as Young Enough.

I love Guppy so much, and I saw them live last month. I only listened to the new album a few times before seeing them. They completely changed my mind about Young Enough, I think it's a great record, very 80s feel. Supermoon EP is also fantastic.
