I love Charly Bliss, but this song is much better live! I always prefer their stuff live - it's got so much more life and energy to it. Another commenter was correct when they said that the production and mix for this song just isn't right. It flattens everything out. I've had this problem with other Charly Bliss music videos, as well. One of their only music videos that I watch over and over is for "Hard to Believe". I think that's because the video is mostly of the band performing the song, so it captures some of the great energy that the band has when they perform live. I'd love to have official recordings of the songs that really capture the joy I feel when I watch/listen to them live. Thank goodness for all the people who post live recordings of them on KZbin. Charly Bliss should do a live record (or at least a better mixed one)!

hard agree! they're one of the best bands i've ever seen live, the energy was unmatched. I heard 'you don't even know me anymore' live before it came out and shed a tear at the gig bc it hit so hard but I was disappointed by the production on the single

I know bands change. I know they grow, the style may be different...I get it...but damn...I miss the grittier band that was charly bliss...guppy is one of my all time favorite albums, I cover songs from it all the time. saw them live in 2018 and I don't think I could hack it now. they've grown poppier by the second and this is just not for me. this is just over polished radio rock :/ but hey, if that's what they're happy doing, all power to em I guess...rip in my mind...

This song reminds me a lot of 100 Gecs….I miss their “BubbleGrunge” sound. I don’t think we’ll ever get that sound again. Still love their Soft Serve EP, Guppy, and even some songs on Young Enough.

Look, the song itself is OK-ish, I think, but it's hard to know under the production & mix which is..... ugh.... dreadful. Not sure why it's been mixed to sound like everything that my 10 year-old listens to. Not for me I'm afraid, in the same way that most latter-day Weezer isn't either (for much the same reason).
