That's great, nostalgic, I grew up in Thirsk and spent many happy hours not catching much bar minnows. I did get a Grayling at Norby weir on a ledgered maggot, I think it felt sorry for me as I didn't really know what I was doing.

Peg 14 and 15 used to be cracking pegs full of big Dace and chub, also plenty of grayling in the winter. Great stick float water.

Nice to see the lamprey. Pity about the weir blocking their way though. Is there a reason for the permanent pegs as it seems a bit daft on a little beck.
