Hi, Clementine After a few years of paper crafting I find myself itching to get back into sewing/quilting. Quick projects like this are exactly what I am looking for. I appreciate where you have chosen to add your music. I have difficulty listening to people talk when there is background music. You place it where it works best. I haven't yet watched your faster paced video , but I was quite happy with the pace and the length of this one. Thank you. Happy Thanksgiving and I'm a new subscriber. Nancy in Nevada

Very very sweet little fabric boxes! Congratulations and thank you for sharing. Your voice is very calming. You were very good teacher and I love your background music. I intend to make a few of these for Quilting friends and I mean large sum to10 inch squares with a little more cut out of the corners to make them taller. Wonderful for closing small gifts. Or scrap baskets at retreats.❤

@@rosehixon2790 thank you so much! Your comment made my day 😊 I love the idea of making these with 10” squares as well! They would be so great for gifts or scrap baskets!

The trinket dish is beautiful and would make a great stocking stuffer. These would also be great for storing sewing machine presser feet, binder clips, thimbles, buttons or even small jewelry. Thank you.

@@cheriwilliams7001 thank you so much! Yes you could store so much in these! I’ve been putting quilting clips in them but also started storing my sewing needles in the folded brim too!

This is a great tutorial. I’m completely new to this, what type of batting do I need?
@CraftingwithClementine2 күн бұрын
Hi! I personally use the Warm & Natural brand of quilt batting - I make lots of random project so I usually buy a large piece and cut it up. This is what I use: amzn.to/3ZaejWl But there are lots of other options too. I've not used this kind, but this is a popular type of fusible batting: amzn.to/4eLw83H (fusible just means you can iron it onto your fabric, so you don't have to use a spray adhesive). I hope that helps! Happy sewing ☺
@bethmckenna83142 күн бұрын
Did you cut the batting smaller than the fabric squares? If so, to what dimensions? Thx!
@CraftingwithClementine2 күн бұрын
@ yes when I make these I cut the batting anywhere from a 4” to 4.5” square. A 4.5” square will be closer to your stitching which I prefer, but sometimes it’s easier to sew with a 4” square of batting. I hope that helps! Thanks for watching!

The little bags are really cute. I had trouble, however, hearing you. Your voice is really soft and seemed to be away from the microphone. So I had to turn the volume up the whole way. Then the music was deafening. Maybe there's a way to balance your soft voice and the music.
@CraftingwithClementineКүн бұрын
@@robincadwallader7426 I’m sorry about that. I try my best to keep it balanced but there’s always room for improvement. Thanks for the feedback and that you for watching.
