Charmander Community Day Classic And Shiny Shadow Zapdos Hunt in Pokemon GO

For the 2nd time ever, Charmander is getting a Community Day Classic in Pokemon Go, but why? I might have the explanation for it while we also take the chance to take on the brand new Shadow Zapdos in raids for the first time too.

I caught 17 shiny Charmanders during the community day yesterday. Also managed to get shadow Charmander, shadow Metang, and shadow Aron from battling Team Rocket grunts so it was a good day.

I was happy this one came back because Charmander is one of my favorite pokemon of all time and I only started in April. I had never gotten his shiny before and I had the sunny weather boost which was awesome! I hope everyone else had a good time 😁

As someone from Columbus, I’m glad Brandon came into town, but this was likely the worst area of the city to play. All of the gyms and stops are too spread out. This is why the group was so small, as Columbus has tons of very active players, but none of us play downtown. Goodale park, which was a short scooter ride around the corner is loaded and there are tons of trainers. Innis Metrogarden (Westerville), would have shown 50-100 at a given time. Even OSU campus would have been good, as the OSU opener was an away game so it wouldn’t have been crowded with partners, but likely would have had plenty of trainers. Just wishing that Brandon and Princess would have been able to get out to locations very nearby that active players actually frequent. On a other note, this goes to show many rural players that the urban experience isn’t all that great either. Yes, there are a lot of stops downtown Columbus, but you may be walking 3-4 blocks or more between gyms. I play in the suburbs and it is actually a LOT easier out here.

I had 22 and my wife caught 7, plus I got a shiny shadow zapdos from the only raid we did. But her luck was due to crash. She got a shiny Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Yvelta, and two Xerneas, all from maybe 45 raids total over Go Fest week.

I love your exploration of Earth, you're invited to come out to my area. Not a very large city, but near Chicago and have some nice parks with large amounts of stops. wish i was there i ended up catching 48 shiny charmander in 2 hours including a shiny lickitung shiny bulbasaur and a shiny galar stunfisk. happy hunting in your future endeavors for pokemon go. also sadly i can't do shadow zapdos raids as i'm too poor to travel and i reside in iowa city iowa. currently lvl 42 but i haven't finished quests i should be around 48 but it's whatever. P.S. i did not purchase the ticket nor get a hundo but i did endd up getting a shiny 14/15/15 charizard now for ultra league with wing attack blast burn and dragon claw.

As usual, you systematically skip the dialog from Professor Willow (or Rhi or whoever) whenever there are special research missions available. You NEVER read a single line and ALWAYS jump to the tasks to be done. Why? This shows a TOTAL DISRESPECT for the Niantic team who regularly spends time and efforts to devise nice and entertaining story-lines to ensure that playing Pokémon Go is not merely a question of stupidly and blindly catching pokémons like an automaton. I certainly won’t consider becoming one of your patreons until you show a little more respect to the story-tellers at Niantic. So you think that you know everything there is to know about pokémons? Can you then answer these questions? 1) How does a charmander show what it is feeling? 2) What happens when a charmeleon encounters a worthy foe? 3) How high can a charizard fly? What, you don’t know any of these?! Maybe you shouldn’t have skipped Professor Willow’s story-lines… But then you’ve never really cared about pokémons, have you?

@@defydakidd9119such a weird comment. He has 660k+ subscribers and gets a lot of views. Sells merchandise. Likely other streams of income. Travel within the US isn’t overly expensive if you know what you are doing. A flight from DC to Columbus can be around $100 depending on when you schedule it. Hotels just outside of the Columbus metro area is around $100 per night for an okay place that will be very convenient, clean and have a pool. Could have probably even stayed at the Hilton across from the convention center for a couple hundred dollars per night. Food isn’t crazy expensive, even at nice places. Just one of the videos from the trip would more than cover the cost of their expenses. Your comment shows that you must not travel much. It isn’t as expensive as people make it out to be. Just have to have the desire to get up and go out. $50 alone is sufficient to get you from one capital city to another in the US. Traveling internationally also isn’t overly expensive if you plan ahead and use a travel agent. Got to get out more bro. See the world.
