They are not teenagers as in many other shows , they're grown-up smart women. Having flaws but learning how to deal with problems, how to be confident and at the same time still trying to be happy. Because why the hell not? And they are still sisters to each other. That's the characters that you want to be like when you grow up 😄So I hope you will see more of them!

So happy you’re reacting to this show. The OG Charmed is one of my favorite shows. One thing about the effects is much like early season of Buffy this show didn’t find its footing till mid season 2. So the budget wasn’t really there for the 1st season. BUT stick with the show and it’ll definitely pay off!!!

And since you just said you don't care about the aged special effect and just like the campy 90s stuff, what about Hercules and Xena. Oh Sofie, you just made my day, truly. I am beyond happy. I've been watching your reactions for a while (I discovered you because of OTH which is my favorite series of all time). Now, Charmed is my original obsession. First tv show I watched (waited what felt like years to be able to watch season 3), it's my first love, and the show that held the title of "favorite tv show" for a long long time. Because I know you are in season 2 on Patreon I had resigned myself you wouldn't be posting it on youtube due to copyright issues. I considered joining Patreon but a) I appreciate your shorter youtube videos, cause as much as I'd like to I don't have the time to watch full reactions and b) my dvds are literally on another continent, so I wouldn't be able to synch up. I hope if coyright issues du become a problem down the line, you don't ge discouraged and try to fight through them, and if you stop reacting, that you keep us informed on how you are liking the show :3

I'm a Charmed fan, even with this show's flaws (and it has a lot) I still remember every episode by heart and it was the show that got me into supernatural/fantasy type shows/media. For me Season 1 is the best season of the show, while it has the show beginning start a lot of season 1's do its the ONLY season of the show that isn't marred by executive meddling or some kind of unfavorable plot element. it is also the only Season where I really enjoy all 3 of the sisters equally as going forward, one or more sister would be unfavorable in some way. Though I generally still do like all three in Season 2. I also think Season 1 blends the witchcraft/supernatural vibes the best of all the seasons. In these first two seasons (Since I see your pinned comment that you're on season 2) Phoebe is my favorite sister, particularly in Season 2. I also just think Season 1 has this cozy feeling in its more laid back moments, stuff like the sisters talking and just doing their normal lives it feels very cozy to me. Even though I enjoy Piper's character and Prue as a whole, I think Phoebe stuck out the most in the first two seasons. I really enjoyed episode 2 for Piper's plot, because to me it feels the most relatable that one of them would be the most reactionary to this new secret they discovered. I also think it ironically has the best power of three vanquish, despite it being the introduction of it. RIP Shannen Doherty btw, I don't think anyone could've played Prue like she did.
