They "died" in the previous season by blwing up the zankou who had taken in the nexus. Thats what they meant by dieing like us. Also it was foreshadowing for the house blowing up but the comment was based on the previous season.

There was going to be a Billie spin-off? I know Holly Marie was trying to push for a "Charmed Sons" spin-off. Three of them were up for a reunion movie before Shannon got cancer. Rose never responded. I think she has had issues.

personally i would have preferred a special of the series (a halloween themed one), located sometime after the events of the last episode, about the return from the wasteland of the nemesis of the girls (barbas, zankou, the woogyman, the source, the triad, the seer (and her offspring the source's heir)), trying to take revenge on them, for make a more interesting plot in the series, but maybe with what is seen in the comics is enought.
