We have a Christmas Eve sleepover with our kids and grandkids. On Christmas morning after the presents are opened we have a concert. My husband plays guitar. My son plays saxophone. My daughter-in-law plays keyboard and my daughter plays flute. The rest of the family sings along.

You certainly live up to your group's name...."creative". I simply love, love those books. All very cute. Now I need to get me those embellishments. I have so many "favorite" traditions. My mother and I go to my son's house and decorate his house and tree for him. On Christmas Eve, we get together for a Chinese Food Take Out, family arrives that night and our two youngest kiddies (my great neice and nephew) - who are 2 and 3 will entertain us with their antics. They LOVE the Candy Dish....take a bite of one...than another haha.....they have so much fun and that's what it's about. The next day we gather around the tree and my dad will begin the morning by having a prayer before we open presents to thank God for all of our blessings and for sending His Son. I can't choose just one tradition. God is so good.

These are so cute! My Mom has always loved gingerbread man and the last couple of years they have become a favorite of mine too. My favorite today is the boy and girl gingerbread blocks. I’ll be recreating those for sure. When I was carrying our oldest daughter (32 years ago) I bought a ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas book and read it to her on Christmas Eve , every year since then we have read that same book on Christmas Eve. The first year she was able to read it to us I cried. That’s my favorite Christmas tradition also making us, my husband, 2 daughters, son in law and myself matching Christmas morning shirts. 🎄🎅🏻🧑🏻‍🎄

My favorite was the stack of gingerbread books. It is so cute and I love the additional details you added. Our favorite tradition is decorating the yard and house to the hilt. We start right after Thanksgiving, by the time we are done our home looks like the Griswold's from Christmas Vacation. We also like to go see the holiday lights as a family.

I started a tradition when my 1st son was born. I get up early, cook cinnamon rolls or monkey bread and we eat before any gifts are given. I have a blended family now with 2 incredible bonus kids.. oh their all grown and they've given me 9 beautiful healthy grandbabies! It's warmed my heart year after year since we've become empty-nesters, each of our 4 children have carried on with My cinnamon and orange juice tradition.. if we're not able to be with them over Christmas, we get a picture of it ❤❤ What really warms my heart most is my children have dubbed it "Grandma Bunny's/Christy" Christmas breakfast 💓 and my grandbabies always have to tell me about it yearly 😊❤❤ Oh, my favorite craft was the candy cane gingerbread man! I have been collecting Hallmark ornaments since they began in 1973, and now have over 1200. So many memories tied to each one. That's my favorite tradition. Before we moved I put up 5 8' trees in our home library. Now I don't have that same space so it will be a challenge but I'll figure it out. Lots of work but lots of fun.

We used to play this card game called hand & foot as one of our traditions, but since MaMa passed away, we have not played. It was her favorite card game to play! We started a new tradition a few years ago having a themed dinner on Christmas Eve, and we eat leftovers the day for dinner. The first year was Italian, so we made homemade loaves of bread, 2 lasagnas, spaghetti pasta made from scratch, and crab ravioli made from scratch as well! The next year was pizza. loved all of these! the beanie turned out so cool! My favorite tradition is Christmas Eve is my mama's birthday. she was born on her mothers birthday! Granny is no longer with us. anyways we have always had a snack party with finger foods and dips and such then we open our gifts. Then a few years ago we started out own tradition of not cooking anything but breakfast on Christmas day to take the day and just relax! snack on left overs and chill. Then the day after Christmas we cook our Christmas meal. this helped us so much doin this. We weren't so tired and cranky and could take our time and cook and enjoy it.

Oh Courtney, all are so cute. Love the gingerbread wood blocks. On Christmas morning I hide the Christmas pickle. The grandchild that finds it first, gets to open a gift first, and gets a dollar. I usually have little prizes for all the other grand kids, as they participated as well. I still hang my kids stocking up on my mantle, along with the 4 grand dogs, and 5 grandkids, and 2 great grand kids. This video would be a good one for Mr. Cheap to voice over!🤣👍😘

All of your diy's were great but my favorite was the books. On Christmas Eve we all meet for dinner at our favorite Chinese restaurant. After dinner the family meets at Grandma and Grandpa's house for cookies and the family Christmas gift exchange. It's a lot of fun. On Christmas day we go to a family dinner at my daughter's house so we can see what her younger children got from Santa.

Oh my goodness, Courtney!!!! Everything is so cute. My favorite is what you came up with for the book stacks. Super cute. Looks like I'm on a Wal Mart mission to hunt the gingerbread house. I love the wooden gingerbread wooden boy and girl. The stitching on the beanie reminded me of my childhood. we used to crochet beanie hats in different colors and stitch what we wanted on them for the occasion. Candy cane was super cute, also. Love how you made the gingerbread houses out of clay for the candle. Favorite tradition is going to eat as a family on christmas eve, then we all go back to the house and watch Christmas Vacation and then we go to midnight mass as a family.
